Kitchen Tools Gadgets Equipment Essentials
So I have a totally random brand of pressure cooker, I think it is a QVC brand, that I bought at a yard sale. It works great but it has a nonstick inner pot and I would like to get a stainless steel one. The pot I have is 9 3/8″ wide and 6 1/2″ tall. All of the pots I look at on amazon say they will only fit certain brands. So my question is what SS pot can I get for my pressure cooker?
I have the mini and ordered your recommendation of the 1.5 qt for a pot in pot. When I put into the ip liner it is almost to top. Do you not need a trivet for the pot in pot to sit on? If I put the trivet in, the pot is taller than the liner and the lid doesn’t close.
Hi Lewellyn. The bowl is 4 inches tall. The IP is 5 inches tall. This bowl is really good for reheating leftovers, so that they don’t cook more, but reheat nicely. I wonder if you were sent the wrong bowl. You can see from my photos that the bowl does fit and it is sitting on the included trivet. For things like potato salad, I would use the little basket I talk about in my IP Mini Review article. Jill
