What are the Ingredients in Asian Stir Fry Sauce?
- Hoisin Sauce
- Soy Sauce
- Rice Wine Vinegar
- Sambal Oelek Ground Chili Paste
- Ground Mustard Seed
- Sesame Oil
- Ground White Pepper
Measure Hoisin Sauce
I like to use a large glass measuring up and add in the Hoisin Sauce first, since it it the largest ingredient used in this Asian Stir Fry Sauce.
If you stir-fry a lot, you might want to mix up a bigger batch.
Make the Stir Fry Sauce Spicy!
Between the Sambal Oelek Ground Chili Paste and the Hot Ground Mustard Power, your sauce will definitely have a little kick.
For a milder Asian Stir-Fry Sauce, just reduce the amount of one or both of the heat elements.
On the flip side, use more for a spicy Asian Stir Fry Sauce.
Remember though, this sauce is quite concentrated and once coupled with the meat and/or vegetables, the flavor won’t be so strong.
Whisk up Asian Stir Fry Sauce
The powdered ingredients will clump, so use a good whisk to make the sauce as smooth as possible.
For a couple of years, I have been posting about how much I love my Rösle Stainless Steel Flat Whisk and the feeling is still the same.
If you haven’t purchased one by now, think about getting one for yourself.

You know what is it really good with? Tofu.
Yes, slice Tofu into chunks and marinate in the sauce for an hour or so and then cook it on the stove by itself or with vegetables.

It’s such an easy and quick dinner.
Tofu Nuggets in the Air Fryer are really delicious too.
Yummy Stir Fry Sauce!
You may have to use your fingers and pinch the mustard clumps to get them to separate and then shake the sauce.
