Air Fryer Garlic Bread Buns
By now, you may have noticed that I don’t do garlic stuff in the traditional manner.
Just take my Air Fryer Crispy Honey Garlic Chicken Wings recipe, for example. Those wings are like no other.
These Air Fryer Garlic Bread Buns are great with my Instant Pot Chicken Marsala. They sop up the Sauce nicely!
You may think this odd, but the first secret to great Air Fryer Garlic Bread Buns are Hot Dog Buns!
Yes, you heard me right. Hot Dog Buns make great Garlic Bread.
Look for a good Hot Dog Bun, not cheap ones.
In a small Saucepan, add Butter and let it melt.
Add the Fresh Minced Garlic and slowly simmer.
Make sure to keep an eye on the Saucepan, so that it does not burn. I love my set of di Oro Silicone Spatulas, as they can be used in high heat and they are made in one piece.
Use a Basting Brush and brush the Butter on to the cut side of each Hot Dog bun.
The Garlic will remain in the bottom of the Saucepan.
Yummy.
Don’t worry if the Butter is not completely out to the ends. Just do your best.
OMG, I just love Toast, don’t you? Check out my recipe for Air Fryer Perfect Cinnamon Toast.
After all the Butter is spread on to the Buns, you will be left with all that yummy simmered Garlic in the Saucepan.
Brush the Garlic bits all over the Bread.
Sprinkle on the Oregano and then the Paprika. Don’t over do it. It is just a slight quick dusting.
Use a Course Grater and grate your own Asiago Cheese. The Cheese that comes already shredded, is kind of nasty and has fillers to keep from sticking.
Sprinkle just a little over the Bread Buns. I got a bit carried away here because I was trying to get a photo and sprinkle at the same time.
The Cheese is not the star of these Air Fryer Garlic Bread Buns, so don’t cover it with Cheese. It is not a Cheese Bread.
Looks like no big deal right?
Just wait…..
Place as many Buns into the Air Fryer as will fit.
Serve these up with my yummy Pressure Cooker Spaghetti Dinner. Everything comes together so fast.
Put the Spaghetti ingredients into the Pressure Cooker, then start the Air Fryer Garlic Buns and have a delicious dinner in under 30 minutes.

I made this recipe except I used hoagie rolls instead of hot dog rolls.
I added Italian seasonings along with 0oregano to the garlic butter mix before brushing onto rolls. Any remaining garlic and butter was spooned on top of the rolls and spread around..
Came out great. Love that air fryer!
